ABOUT REA JAMES
Rea J. Brown is a costume designer and visual artist. Their work has been seen at Steppenwolf's 1700 theatre, Shattered Globe Theatre, David Geffen School of Drama, and The University of Chicago. They hold a B.A. in Theater & Performance Studies and Visual Arts from the University of Chicago. In 2022 they received the Louis Sudler Prize and Honors recognition for their artwork in the shared thesis exhibition "I Think We're Getting Somewhere", as well as Honors for their thesis Pint Sized Plays & Other Works. They currently work out of New Haven CT where they are pursuing a M.F.A in Costume Design.
